VCCP nabs ex-GIGIL Manila creative director for SG office

Integrated communications agency VCCP Singapore has named Soleil Badenhop as its new creative director. With her distinct Asian perspective, Badenhop is set to invigorate VCCP’s creative aspirations in Southeast Asia by transforming its clients' fortunes and challenging the categories they operate in, the agency said in a statement.

Badenhop previously worked at independent agency GIGIL Manila, where she was the creative director for the Netflix account. She joined the team in 2021 as its associate creative director. 

Before that, Badenhop served as associate creative director at Dentsu Jayme Syfu, working across a variety of accounts, including
Unilever, Coca-Cola, and Greenpeace

She has also worked in agencies such as Digital FCB Manila, Publicis JimenezBasic and more in her career. 

“Badenhop is a huge talent who has had an incredible run in her career thus far. She is humble, thoughtful, and highly respected for her passion and commitment to the craft," said Andrew Hook, ECD of VCCP Singapore.

"It took us a while to find just the right person for this role, but our patience was well rewarded. We are very fortunate to have her on board, and the creative team is excited to have such a high-impact player on the squad,” he added. 

This comes shortly after VCCP Singapore named Anh Nguyen as its new creative group head early this year.

As the creative group head at VCCP Singapore, Nguyen leverages creativity to solve the agency's clients' business problems.

From ideation to execution, he drives innovation, ensuring VCCP Singapore's work speaks to consumers across all mediums. Nguyen also plays a role in mentoring younger team members, helping to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment, the agency said at the time.
