The UOB Telkomsel credit card is designed to complement the modern lifestyle and connect customers through a variety of special benefits. Some of the benefits include  triple UOB Points for every IDR 2,000 spent on Telkomsel Halo and Cinema XXI Bill Payment as well as retail transactions in the merchant categories of dining, fashion, department store and overseas transactions.

Additional exclusive benefits include Telkomsel's RoaMAX Package Bonus which covers ASEAN, Asia, Australia, America, and Europe, as well as Buy 1 Get 2 Cinema XXI tickets every Saturday. The card also provides travel inconvenience protection and additional overseas medical protection.

The co-branded card comes as Indonesia witnessed a tremendous growth in the eCommerce market that's driven by increasing internet penetration, according to a statement seen by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.

As such, the UOB Telkomsel credit card also offers benefits such as increased data allowances, cashback for online purchases and rewards for daily expenses, making banking and communication easier and more profitable too.

In addition, cardholders can take advantage of exclusive promotions with leading eCommerce and online merchants such as GrabFood, Tokopedia and Traveloka.

"Customer centricity is at the core of what we do. With our strategic partnership with Telkomsel, the largest telecommunications provider in Indonesia, we look forward to providing an exceptional customer experience and offering a wide range of offerings to cater to today's digitally connected urban lifestyle. This confirms our ambition to become the bank of choice for aspiring individuals in Indonesia," said Cristina Teh Tan, consumer banking director, UOB Indonesia.

"As the leading digital telecommunications service provider in Indonesia, Telkomsel is committed to providing innovative and superior connectivity, services, and solutions to its customers. Through the ease of seamless bill payment and various offers that support a digital lifestyle that is more connected to UOB Telkomsel Credit Card, we hope that this continued collaboration with UOB Indonesia can continue to provide added value to open up more opportunities for people to create a better day and a brighter future," said Derrick Heng, marketing director of Telkomsel.

Earlier in May this year, Telkomsel partnered with anime platform Crunchyroll to launch the first specialised anime destination package in Indonesia, namely the Telkomsel and Crunchyroll Bundling Package.

The package aims to enhance anime fans’ accessibility to their favourite content anytime and anywhere. Telkomsel customers, including both prepaid and postpaid (Halo) users, can easily purchase the Telkomsel and Crunchyroll Bundling Package through the MyTelkomsel app and website.
