Global apparel retailer UNIQLO is hosting a global photography exhibition in Singapore, created in partnership with internationally renowned photographic cooperative, Magnum Photos.
The exhibition, co-presented by Mapletree Investments (Mapletree), will run from 20 September to 4 October at VivoCity and will be freely accessible to all. In commemoration of International Day of Peace, visitors are invited to pen their wishes and tie them to a Wishing Tree, a universal symbol of hope, life, and resilience, creating a shared vision of a better world.

The collection features a curated collection of striking, joyful, profound photographs from Magnum photographers Cristina de Middel, Lindokuhle Sobekwa, and Olivia Arthur, who traveled to Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Romania to capture the everyday lives of real people who are the beneficiaries of funds raised through 'PEACE FOR ALL'.
The project is intended as a worldwide reflection on the value of peace, to showcase the real-world impact of UNIQLO’s ongoing 'PEACE FOR ALL' project. Moreover, the exhibition presents an important opportunity for UNIQLO customers everywhere to witness the positive impact of their participation in 'PEACE FOR ALL'.
These 30 pieces of work from Magnum Photos will be presented at public spaces in VivoCity, allowing everyone to appreciate compelling images captured by expert photographers.
"Mapletree is a strong supporter of the arts through our corporate social responsibility programme. We are delighted to contribute to this initiative that drives a positive impact through art. "We have also made it easy for everyone wishing to make a stand for peace through our PEACE FOR ALL T-shirts that are available at UNIQLO stores and online.”
