Unilever's Smile senior global brand director Kartik Khare joins Tupperware Brands

Kartik Khare (pictured), former senior global brand director for Unilever's oral care brand Smile, has joined Tupperware Brands as vice president, marketing and digital, Asia Pacific.
In a statement to?Marketing, Khare said he oversees marketing leadership for Asia Pacific by?developing and executing the marketing strategy to drive business growth and profitability.?According to him, it spans portfolio management, consumer insights, product innovation and design strategy, digital strategy, campaign energy strategy, and sustainability focus.?He reports to Justin Hewett, Tupperware Brands' group president Asia Pacific. Meanwhile, Unilever declined to comment on?Marketing's queries.
Khare was previously with Unilever for over 17 years, according to his LinkedIn. During his time as senior global brand director for Smile, he led the business vision and brand strategy globally and supported the various markets to execute them seamlessly. He also spearheaded the global innovation agenda by tapping into technologies, trends and insights. Before that, he was global brand director for Unilever's personal care brand Lux. Khare's main responsibilities included brand strategy and business development, market development, brand business model, as well as global product creation and campaign development.
He has over 18 years of experience with a decade of it in global leadership roles. During his career, Khare also led profit and loss turnaround in multiple portfolios through data-led digital solutions, purpose-led innovation and portfolio transformation.
