Jonathan Seto (pictured left) and Nicolle Jayne Sing (pictured right) are departing The Smart Local (TSL) Media Group. Seto, who was previously with MOI Global, will continue to serve as TSL Media Group's chief growth officer until December 2024.

In a statement to MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Bryan Choo, CEO of TSL said, "As we bid farewell to Seto and Sing, I also want to take this opportunity to thank them for their hard work and commitment to the company over the past two years. During this period of time, we have super-charged TSL’s growth with new campaigns, clients and partnerships."

As chief growth officer, Seto's main role was to evolve the homegrown digital publisher to the next phase of growth by working closely with the CEO to define the growth strategy and product-market in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines, according to his LinkedIn. Prior to joining TSL Media Group, Seto was the senior vice president and managing director of APAC at MOI Global where he was responsible for growing the agency's footprint in the APAC region.

Meanwhile, Sing was the group director of TSL Media Group and senior vice president of X10 Media.  As group director of TSL Media Group, Sing oversaw group-wide operations across all business units to ensure optimised efficiency for productivity and scalability.  Prior to joining TSL Media Group, Sing was the head of APAC of The Goat Agency where she grew the agency's portfolio as well as developed team, culture and processes to support its new and existing clients across Asia.

Choo also added that moving forward, in 2025 TSL will build on its momentum and launch new initiatives to carry the company forward into the next chapter.

"On this note, I am excited to introduce Teresa Goh, our former VP of client services, as the new head of X10 Singapore, stepping into Sing's role," he said. Meanwhile Seto's role will not be replaced.

In her new position, Goh will lead the launch of TSL's new integrated marketing service, with X10 as its influencer marketing arm. Earlier this year, TSL Media Group acquired X10 Media, an influencer marketing services agency with a presence in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

This move marked a significant milestone for the group in further solidifying its position as an end-to-end media and creative services provider in the regional media landscape, it said. By integrating X10 Media into its portfolio, TSL Media Group gains strategic and technology capabilities in the realm of influencer marketing.
