Consumer insights firm Toluna expands APAC ops with Thailand office

Consumer insights provider Toluna has rolled out operations in Thailand. Alongside its market expansion is the appointment of Chumphol (Marc) Sivawettakul as the business development director of Southeast Asia. In this new role, Sivawettakul will drive Toluna's rapid growth across the Thailand market, where the company already works with a number of global brands and market research companies.
Sivawettakul has over 18 years of experience in business development and consulting, with a concentration on retail and FMCG industries across Southeast Asia. Prior to joining Toluna, he served as business development lead at retail tech business EYOS where he shaped the direction of Thailand business development team, according to his LinkedIn. Meanwhile, as director of retailer services at NielsenIQ, he led a retailer servicing team to grow the clientele base.
Through his combination of market expertise and experience working with brands, retailers, and agencies, Toluna said that Sivawettakul will help customers achieve results through strategic planning and proactive thinking. On a global level, Toluna works with companies including Danone, Kellogg's, Sony, Kraft, and AXA. It is the parent company of market research companies Harris Interactive and KuRunData. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to Toluna for additional information about its Thailand expansion.

Toluna’s managing director in APAC, Ludo Milet explained that business in Southeast Asia continues to grow at a rapid pace, and it is critical that Toluna continues to grow its team and add local expertise to meet the needs of its clients across the region. He added: "We’re thrilled to add Sivawettakul’s experience to the Toluna team and expand our global footprint by opening operations in Thailand.”
