The North Face has collaborated with the streetwear label CLOT to unveil a new collection featuring captivating landscapes and sensual gradients, highlighting the brands’ efforts to embrace outdoor exploration and Mother nature.

Seeing outdoor exploration as a dialogue with Mother Earth, the brands take consumers through the mountains and towards the misty peaks, introducing a collection that brings together elements of nature and stylistic aesthetics that aim to add colours to consumers’ journey.

Reshaping outdoor wear with eminent style, the collaboration delivers a perfect combination of design and functionality. Nature-inspired elements encountered along the journey are translated through colours with hints of oriental charm, topped with technologically enhanced materials and creative layering ideas for maximised practicality.

Founder and creative director of CLOT Edison Chen has also invited fashion designer Kazuki Kuraishi to participate in the project, integrating his unique fashion understanding into The North Face's outdoor pieces, creating more possibilities for outdoor wear.

“The core person that I am, it hasn't really changed over time, but my curiosities have, what gives me a successful feeling has. My mindset is actually exploration. Allowing yourself to see new things, allowing yourself to experience clouds, sunsets and sunrises, is a story that I've never told. I feel like The North Face was the perfect conduit for that story to be expressed,” said Edison Chen.

“When I design, I normally think about the details first. I don't think too much about the concept, but Chen does. That's why we work together. I always think of good design as it is, but even beautiful design needs good function,” explained Kazuki Kuraishi, fashion designer of CLOT.

Done with DRYVENT technology, the North Face x CLOT Shell Jacket features an all-over cloud print, topped with colour-blocking sleeves and side seams to create a stylish outdoor look. Meanwhile, the new waterproof Poncho can be adjusted with the hidden buttons on the hem, ensuring a perfect fit.

In addition to outerwear, the extensive The North Face x CLOT collection also includes Fleece Pullovers in different colorways, each with a detachable hood and Chinese knot buttons signature to CLOT.

The collaboration will be available in The North Face Pacific Place Urban Exploration Concept Store, The North Face Hysan Place Exploration Concept Store and The North Face Concept Store (K11 Art Mall and New Town Plaza) from 24 February exclusively for XPLR Pass members only.

To enhance customer experience, Pacific Place Urban Exploration Concept Store will be transformed into a themed space from 24 February to 10 March, featuring nature elements of sunsets and sunrises, for guests to enjoy a special shopping experience with colours of nature.
