Both Chariot and Pulse AMC will take on the role of media planning and buying and were selected after a comprehensive pitch process that evaluated several agencies.

The decision to partner with Chariot and Pulse AMC underscores Tenaga Nasional's commitment to pushing the boundaries of advertising and embracing a fresh outlook for forward-thinking ideas, it said in a statement.

"We are honoured to be chosen as Tenaga Nasional's lead advertising agency. Our team is excited to bring our creative energy and strategic expertise to this collaboration," said Adrian Cheah, managing director and co-founder of Chariot.

"We look forward to creating powerful campaigns that resonate with Tenaga Nasional Berhad's audience and contribute to the company's ongoing success," Cheah added.

"We are thrilled about this partnership. With our expertise in media planning and buying, we are committed to ensuring that Tenaga Nasional's messages reach the right audiences effectively," said Vivian Tah, CEO and Founder of Pulse AMC.

"By optimising media strategies and combining them with Chariot's creative approach, we aim to enhance brand visibility and engagement. We are eager to play a pivotal role in this dynamic collaboration," Tah added.

Chariot Agency also recently promoted Gillian Yap to the role of general manager. The appointment marks a significant milestone in Yap's career, having joined the agency as head of account management in 2022.

In her new role as general manager, Yap will oversee the agency's day-to-day operations, drive business development, and continue to spearhead high-impact projects.
