Malaysian energy provider Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has unveiled a new music video in celebration of its 75th anniversary.

The music video, titled "Cahayaku" ('My light'), stars TNB employees and showcases the work they do which impacts Malaysians.

It also showcases the company's history by featuring old photos from the archives and paintings in its office.

In a statement accompanying the music video, TNB expressed its appreciation to all who have supported the company for the past 75 years. It also called for Malaysians to come together to radiate hope and energy to illuminate the world.

The music video was done in collaboration with Rimba Lions and The Moving Image. Sasi the Don, founder of Creative Lions Asia executive produced the music video.

In a LinkedIn post by Sasi, he said, "I am very proud of putting this project together for TNB with my team from Rimba Lions. We worked from scratch day and night to make this great piece of content happen with the wonderful stars and team from TNB."

"The song title Cahayaku reflects 75 years of TNBs commitment in nation building as well as lighting our paths towards progress and where we are today," he added.

A+M has reached out for more information.

Earlier in August, TNB named Chariot Agency its main advertising agency and Pulse AMC as its media agency.

This strategic partnership represents a significant step forward in TNB's mission to enhance brand presence and customer engagement through innovative and impactful advertising.

Both Chariot and Pulse AMC will take on the role of media planning and buying and were selected after a comprehensive pitch process that evaluated several agencies.

The decision to partner with Chariot and Pulse AMC underscores Tenaga Nasional's commitment to pushing the boundaries of advertising and embracing a fresh outlook for forward-thinking ideas, it said in a statement.
