Tech and beauty blend at Estée Lauder lipstick customisation HK pop-up

Aiming to blend innovation with an experiential customer journey, from 29 April to 12 May at Lane Crawford Times Square Estée Lauder will be running a pop-up event “Lips to Envy. Custom Blend Lip Lounge”, featuring a lipstick customisation service. At the pop-up event, customers will have a customised makeup service experience in a 30-minute session, which is available to pre-book online or in-store. On-site Estée Lauder beauty advisors will assist customers in choosing a Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick base shade, using YouCam Virtual Try On tech to show them a virtual preview. The customers will then be able to choose from four customisation options – lighter, darker, warmer or cooler. The beauty advisor will then create a customised lipstick shade for customers in store. Customers can witness the process of their own lipstick's creation- blended, melted, moulded and chilled. As a final touch, customers can personalise their lipsticks by engraving names or letters on the base of the lipstick case. [gallery link="file" ids="256241,256235,256236,256238"] In addition to the customised lipsticks, customers at purchase will also receive an exclusive Estée Lauder pouch with two refillable lipstick bullets. "Lips to Envy. Custom Blend Lip Lounge" has also been activated in London and Toronto, and will soon be rolled out in New York City and other cities worldwide.
