Fashion and luxury lifestyle magazine Tatler is launching its website in Bahasa Melayu. This marks a significant milestone in the publication's commitment to serving Malaysia's diverse readership, it said in a statement.

The new Bahasa Melayu version of Tatler Asia's website will run parallel to the existing English site, offering readers the option to toggle between languages for a bilingual experience.

The expansion aims to cater to the growing demand for premium content in Malaysia's national language.

“We are thrilled to introduce Tatler Malaysia in Bahasa Melayu,” said Lynette Ow, editor in-chief of Tatler Malaysia.

“This launch reflects our dedication to connecting with a broader Malaysian audience and celebrating the country’s rich cultural heritage alongside global luxury trends," added Ow.

The Bahasa Melayu platform will feature localised content across fashion, beauty, culture and lifestyle. It will also feature interviews with Malaysian personalities and industry leaders as well as in-depth features on local event traditions and luxury experiences.

Readers can also look forward to thought-leadership stories which will inspire and offer new perspectives.

The expansion aligns with the Tatler Asia's regional strategy to deepen its connection with communities through shared passions, while maintaining its position as the authority on luxury in Asia.

Earlier in July, Tatler Asia expanded into Vietnam. The expansion comes under an exclusive licensing partnership with House of MOCO.

The venture will see Tatler's digital and print content available in Vietnamese, with digital content hosted on tatlerasia.com and social media accounts specifically for Tatler Vietnam launching concurrently.

The first print issue for Tatler Vietnam is currently scheduled for this month.

Additionally, Tatler's community and events portfolio will also extend into Vietnam, with Tatler Ball, Vietnam set to debut in 2025.
