Suria KLCC shopping mall has launched its inaugural ‘Picnic in the Park’ experience to immerse its shoppers in the natural beauty that surrounds the Esplanade and KLCC Park with luxurious picnic set-ups.

Set against the backdrop of the PETRONAS Twin Towers and the musical fountains of KLCC Lake Symphony, guests will be given a personal teepee tent and a picnic mat to enjoy free-flow drinks by Whittard of Chelsea Malaysia and dinner served by Burger & Lobster.

The experience is for groups of four who will receive a picnic basket with outdoor essentials such as sunscreen, mosquito repellent and hand-held fans to name a few.

"We say to our shoppers that we want to provide them with ‘Always Something New’ when they visit us, this event does exactly that and expresses our gratitude to them by offering them a truly distinctive experience at Suria KLCC," said Andrew Brien, the executive director and CEO of Suria KLCC.

At ‘Picnic in the Park’ guests will be serenaded by performances by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra along with a display of the Lake Symphony Fountain Show at the end of the evening. They will also get to take pictures at a hot air balloon photo booth.

Light refreshments of popcorn and cotton candy will also be served to guests.

Shoppers that spend RM1,000 and above in a maximum of two receipts at specialty stores will stand a chance to redeem the picnic experience that is happening on 15 and 16 July.

As brands leverage the beauty of Mother nature, in Singapore, electricity retailer Geneco recently collaborated with NParks’ Garden City Fund, photography influencer Daryl Aiden Yow and sustainable fashion platform REFASH for its #MySecretGarden campaign which aims to raise awareness about Singapore's abundant green spaces and their positive impact on mental wellness this National Day.

The campaign features nine of NParks’ Therapeutic Gardens which were designed based on scientific evidence, as a haven for relaxation, healing, and self-reflection that could improve one’s mental wellness while also intending to resonate with the younger generation.
