Suria FM welcomes Raya with hour long rom-com and music video

Malay-language radio station Suria FM is welcoming Hari Raya with a selection of programmes with its "Raikan yang dirai" (Celebrate the celebrated) campaign.
As part of the campaign, Suria FM has released a film titled Suami Raya (Raya husband) and an accompanying music video titled Nak Suami Raya (I want a Raya husband).

Suami Raya, available as a one-hour film on YouTube, is a romantic-comedy that follows a woman named Yasmin whose mission is to get married before Hari Raya. Throughout her journey, she is met with plenty of challenges.
The film stars presenters from the radio station such as Cik Piah, Datuk Fizz Fairuz, Kai Hassan, Suraya, Rara, Chiwan and the station's general manager DJ Lin.
The film debuted on Suria FM's digital platforms on 1 April. Prior to the release, the presenters posted updates and teasers on Suria FM's Facebook account, encouraging them to watch the film when it comes out.
In addition to the film, Suria FM released an accompanying music video and soundtrack with presenter Cik Piah as the singer of the pop song.
A behind-the-scenes video was later uploaded to YouTube as well. The behind-the-scenes video features interviews with the presenters and snippets of the film.

Suria FM is not the only one to have released a music video to celebrate Hari Raya.
Recently, logistics company Ninja Van Malaysia released a heartwarming music video that narrates a love story between a Ninja Van rider and a customer. It also unravels the joys and sorrows that his job entails.
In the video, a young delivery rider meets a cute female customer while working. The two eventually fall in love and start a family together. The music video later brings viewers to the future when the man, now older, is surrounded by his children and grandchildren, but sits alone without his beloved.
Throughout the video, glimpses of his life are shown, capturing Ninja Van's constant presence as a steadfast companion in his life, ensuring every delivery is complete and that riders feel valued just like they would in a family.
