Social mobile commerce solutions provider Boutir will offer delivery services to its merchants in collaboration with Lalamove, aimed at helping merchants provide timely and reliable services to their customers and strengthening their logistic capabilities.

To celebrate this partnership, the company will launch a campaign with Lalamove and provide two back-to-back livestreaming events from 2 pm to 11 pm on 12 December. In addition to offering free shipping and deals across 10 merchants, Boutir and Lalamove will offer same-day delivery for two selected merchants, collaborating with influencers to help promote products during the livestreaming events. Four merchants will even star in the event to promote their products. Moreover, Lalamove will also hold a logistics seminar for Boutir merchants to answer their questions on how to use Lalamove’s on-demand delivery services in a flexible manner and how to simplify their logistics arrangements.

"Today, livestreaming has become a popular marketing tool. In addition to showcasing product use and providing real-time shopping tips, merchants can also provide entertainment to potential customers to increase customers’ willingness to spend and drive merchant sales," said Eric Ng, founder of Boutir. "Online shopping has matured in recent years, the spending spree is no longer limited to traditional festivals such as Christmas. Many people want to be entertained as they spend during the holidays. We hope this campaign will help merchants develop powerful marketing strategies for holiday super sales," Ng added.

In additional to Lalamove, Boutir also provides multiple logistic automation systems and works with other partners such as SF Express, ZOT Express, and Hongkong Post. Lalamove said eCommerce benefits its business, particularly after the pandemic, adding that the partnership will allow consumers to experience a seamless shopping experience of "placing orders while watching livestreams."

Gary Chow, managing director of Lalamove Hong Kong, said, “eCommerce offers great potential for our business, and eCommerce orders on Lalamove have grown more than ten-fold since the beginning of the pandemic. Through this partnership, Boutir merchants could experience Lalamove’s instant delivery services, helping them to further enhance their customer experience and competitiveness."
