The Singapore Science Centre, under Science Centre Board (SCB), has named brand practice Anak as its new branding and design agency, according to GeBIZ documents seen by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.

As the appointed agency, Anak will be tasked with developing and designing a comprehensive corporate identity and brand expression for the new Science Centre to ensure consistent brand image. This includes the creation of a new logo, colour palette, iconography and typography.

The agency will also create a style guide to ensure consistency across all content and communications, as well as ensure all materials remain aligned with Science Centre's branding.

The new centre will be launched around the end of 2027. Additionally, as part of the development and transformation of the new Science Centre, it will be renamed as Singapore Science Centre.

In the documents, SCB stated that it aims to ensure the branding work is integrated with the overall strategic goals and objectives of the new Science Centre by aligning the corporate identity and brand expression efforts with broader development initiatives.

"This alignment helps in creating a cohesive and unified approach towards establishing a strong brand presence," it added.

MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out for more information.

In September last year, the Singapore Science Centre picked GOODSTUPH Singapore as its creative agency for Science Centre Singapore’s UNTAME Festival and appointed Zeno Communications Singapore as its public relations agency in April.

Previously, Anak was responsible for the rebrand of Love Bonito and Banyan Group. For Banyan Group, Anak created a new brand identity featuring a redesign of its name and logo.
