Shanghai Pilot Health Promotion Centre and BBDO China highlight importance of healthy lifestyle with new campaign

The Shanghai Pilot Health Promotion Centre and BBDO China have come together again to launch their latest initiative, the "Melting Organs" communication campaign, to educate the public on the importance of organ health and encourage individuals to adopt healthy lifestyle practices for overall well-being.

Within the campaign, three ice cubes shaped with different organs such as liver and heart are placed in three glasses of alcohol, with a caption that reads "The International Agency on Cancer warns that alcohol consumption is linked to increased risk of cancer in seven areas, such as the mouth, pharynx, throat, esophagus, colorectal area, liver and women's breasts". The campaign wishes to deliver a message that an individual's organs will deteriorate or "melt" if one engages in binge drinking or unhealthy drinking lifestyle.

This comes as BBDO China recognises its role as a responsible corporate citizen, extending its focus beyond helping clients achieve business success. The agency actively contributes to the betterment of society, aligning its initiatives with the principles of "Doing the Right Thing." Through driving positive change and creating meaningful impact within the communities it serves, BBDO China is dedicated to empowering individuals and helping to shape a better future.

Revolving around the motto of "Doing the Right Thing", the partnership has launched two campaigns previously, namely “Grow Up” and “Knowing Nothing”. The "Grow Up," focused on workplace cancer prevention, aimed to raise awareness and provide valuable resources for employees and create a healthier and safer work environment.

The second campaign, "Knowing Nothing," shed light on mental health concerns in the workplace, emphasising the significance of psychological well-being and fostering a supportive atmosphere among colleagues.

BBDO China has been actively collaborating with the Shanghai Pilot Health Promotion Centre for the past seven years, working together to raise public awareness of important societal causes.

As a founding member of the Shanghai Pilot Health Promotion Centre, BBDO China places a strong emphasis on improving employees' health and well-being in the workplace.
