The Singapore-based design studio, Beyond The Vines, has decided to launch its first overseas pop-up store in Tokyo, Japan. The pop-up store, titled 'The BTV Express Tokyo', comes after its first pop-up in Singapore last December. It will be located at Daikanyama T-Site and will open from 23 to 26 March 2023, marking the brand's first foray outside of Singapore as it aims to expand its international footprint.

Guided by the vision to make good design accessible to all, Beyond The Vines offers an extensive range of products including ready-to-wear, accessories, and lifestyle items. According to the release, the brand will be showcasing a curated selection of its highly sought-after products, including the recently launched Poofy Wallets, Poofy pouches, and the cult-favorite Dumpling Bags.

The recently-launched 2023 versions of the iconic (Dumpling Bag) bag will be the highlight of the four-day pop-up.

'The BTV Express' draws inspiration from the brand's iconic 'Blooth', found in the BTV Design Store flagship, and features its trademark Engineer’s blue hue. The idea was to design a transient space where people converge and diverge, the release said.

"We are thrilled to be opening our first overseas pop-up store in Tokyo, Japan," said Rebecca Ting, the founder of Beyond The Vines. "Tokyo is a city that values creativity and design, and we believe that our brand will resonate with the city's fashion-forward consumers."

With stores in Singapore and the Philippines, this pop-up is the first of many as part of the brand's expansion plan into new markets. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out for more information.
