Have you seen Samsung's uniquely Singaporean flipsuit collection by Gen Z illustrators?

Samsung Singapore has collaborated with Gen Z illustrators to bring a uniquely Singaporean flavour to the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6. 

The collaboration is part of the brand's "Samsung x You: Reimagine every moments" collection where it works with local artists and illustrators to bring Singapore-exclusive case designs to Galaxy users. 

To date, Samsung has worked with 28 illustrators, with over 45 designs developed over the last two years. This time, the collection features work from five local illustrators: Arissa Rashid, Faith Cheong, Jasmine Tan, Shana Wee and Tan Jia Min.

The "Reimagine everyday moments flipsuit card" collection sees familiar local snacks as well as moments observed during long commutes in the city reflected in its designs. 

At the same time, Samsung is expanding the platform to student illustrators for the first time in its Samsung x CASETIFY "Reimagine everyday moments" collection. 

Through this collaboration, Samsung aims to encourage student illustrators to explore their passions and showcase their art. The student illustrators include Ashley Tiong, Ng Ka Yan and Yiming Chen. 

Tiong's designs feature a merge of food and creative exploration, resulting in the design 'Grab a Tin' and 'Otterly refreshing'. 

Ng's design, 'After school treat', features a nostalgic ice cream cart. Meanwhile, Chen has illustrated a HDB block and the Golden Mile Complex in his designs titled 'Colour blocks' and 'Adventure in town' respectively. 

To mark the launch of the collection, Samsung Singapore has transformed MRT carriages on the North East line with two artworks by Tan and Ng. 

In tandem, Samsung Singapore is releasing a Singapore Night Festival edition flipsuit cards. The flipsuit cards feature murals unveiled during the Singapore Night Festival 2024 including 'New world frontiers' by Ben Qwek and 'Like is automatik' by Kristal Melson. 

This comes as the brand collaborated with Singtel on a new campaign titled "AI Will". 

"AI Will" features the brand's Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 as products that can help people to excel professionally, while balancing life's priorities. 

The film sees two friends Adeline and Diane preparing for a taekwondo competition. Their training schedule is disrupted when Adeline is required to travel abroad for an important work meeting.

Not letting anything stand in the way of their goals, the duo relies on Samsung’s smartphones and Singtel’s services to keep up with their training regime despite being thousands of miles apart.
