These will be along Orchard Road and the Central Business District, as both locations are frequented by shoppers and working professionals. The public will be able to interact with these builds and experience the Wireless PowerSharing feature of the latest Samsung Galaxy S10+ flagship smartphone. These ads placed in prime areas look to integrate mobile technology with connectivity and provide an added convenience in an urban setting. The move also aims to enhance the audience’s relationship with the brand by being relevant to consumers, artfully combining utility and entertainment. Samsung also ran ads to promote its new smartphone on JCDecaux’s other platforms across ION Orchard and Changi Airport to create a complete suite of out-of-home touchpoints. Marketing director of JCDecaux Singapore, Isaline Duminil, said the first creative solution on its bus stops this year demonstrates the dedication to its core value of innovation. She added that the team is always on the lookout to develop new creative out-of-home solutions which allow clients to fully leverage its capabilities. “JCDecaux is delighted to create Singapore’s first out-of-home wireless charging stations at bus stops in partnership with Samsung, a brand name synonymous with creativity and connectivity, and with whom we share a passion for innovation with. Lena Liew, head of brand marketing, Samsung Singapore IT & Mobile Business, said the partnership with JCDecaux is "highly compatible" due to Samsung's position at the forefront of mobile technology and JCDecaux’s "unrivalled" islandwide footprint. "JCDecaux’s creative solution has provided a platform to accelerate our integrated marketing communication effort, by providing an engaging brand touchpoint where we can bring to life a key feature of the new Galaxy S10+.
