RHB has appointed Norazzah Sulaiman (pictured) as its new group chief brand and customer experience officer, effective immediately.
The new function was created under a strategic organisational realignment and integrates its group corporate communications, brand and marketing, customer experience, and social impact together. According to a statement seen by A+M, RHB Group said that aligning these key functions positions it better to adapt to evolving expectations and deliver long-term value across all customer touchpoints.
In addition, the integration enables consistent and impactful communication, deeper stakeholder engagement, and a cohesive approach to driving meaningful social outcomes.

Norazzah was previously RHB's group chief sustainability and communications officer (GCSO). Her former role has been passed on to Angus Salim Amran, who is now officer-in-charge of group sustainability.
In her new role, Norazzah will be leading strategic communications, brand and marketing, social impact and customer experience. Her new combined capacity marks RHB's commitment to purpose-driven growth, and to deepen its connection with the community it serves.
"Reflecting on my time as GCSO, I’m deeply proud of the work we’ve done to build the sustainability function from the ground up. Together, we institutionalised robust governance and disclosure practices," said Norazzah in a LinkedIn post.
"This milestone is a testament to the dedication of an incredible team and our shared belief that sustainability must be embedded into the way we do business," Norazzah added.
Norazzah's promotion comes following an eight-year stint with the company. She first joined the company in 2017 and has since been the CEO of RHB Foundation from 2017, leading the foundation and the group's community empowerment initiatives.
She also held the roles of group chief governance officer and head group corporate services, COO, and group legal counsel at the bank.

Alongside her, Goh Ken-Yi (pictured left), who was the deputy chief executive officer of RHB Singapore, has been elevated as the CEO of RHB Singapore. As CEO, Goh will focus on advancing digital capabilities, delivering innovative financial solutions, and strengthening RHB Singapore's footprint across priority segments.
He succeeds Danny Quah (pictured right), who has been appointed as the managing director of the group's international business. In this capacity, Quah will lead RHB Banking Group's international expansion, focusing on deepening its presence in high-potential markets across the region, such as Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Brunei.
The organisational realignment comes under RHB's three-year corporate strategic roadmap (2025-2027) called "PROGRESS27", which focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving high profitability, and reinforcing its position as a responsible and purposeful financial services group.
“PROGRESS27 builds upon our previous successes and positions us for continued growth and innovation. This roadmap ensures we remain agile in a rapidly evolving financial landscape while continuing to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions and meaningful impact to society," said Mohd Rashid Mohamad, group managing director and group CEO of RHB Banking Group, in a statement sighted by A+M.
The strategy also involved key leadership changes across five senior roles. Besides Norazzah, Angus Salim, Quah and Goh – Wendy Ting has been redesignated as MD of group corporate and business banking. Ting was previously the MD of group international business and corporate banking.
Norazzah's new function comes alongside the appointment of Nishanthi Palani as RHB Banking Group's new head, group corporate communications and media relations, effective this month. Nishanthi was previously the head of strategic communications at SD Guthrie, which was formerly Sime Darby Plantation.
According to checks by A+M, Nishanthi's role involves managing corporate communications, media relations, and public affairs efforts, developing and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets, and overseeing the creation of compelling content for internal and external stakeholders.
