Revolut names Raymond Ng as new Singapore CEO

Global financial super app has Revolut has appointed Raymond Ng as Singapore CEO. Ng (pictured) will focus on leading and building the next chapter of Revolut’s expansion in Singapore, developing and implementing the local business strategy. He was most recently chief commercial officer at payment network company Liquid Group, overseeing product and business development as well as global expansion. He also previously held senior executive roles with large global corporations such as Microsoft, Visa and MasterCard as well as with tech startups.

“With experience in the mobile, payment and travel tech sectors and a track record in scaling the business across new markets in the APAC region, Ng is an excellent fit for the role,” Nik Storonsky, Revolut CEO and founder added.
The new appointment follows Revolut's recent launch of its crypto products in Singapore. According to the company, its customer base in Singapore has grown sixfold since the onset of the pandemic, and its revenue run rate has more than doubled in the past 12 months. In April, the Monetary Authority of Singapore granted in-principle approval for Revolut to offer digital payment token services under the Major Payment Institution licence. Two years ago, the company appointed James Shanahan as Singapore CEO and Pam Chuangas head of growth.
