As part of its annual water conservation drive, Public Utilities Board (PUB) has released a film titled "We can make every drop count".
The film serves to drive home the campaign’s message that everyone can play a part in water conservation, and even simple actions can contribute to securing the country’s water future. The campaign is set to launch on 22 March 2022, on World Water Day.

Done in collaboration with Tribal Worldwide Singapore, the film is supported by a series of print, OOH, digital, and social advertisements that highlight six simple ways to use water more sustainably. Each visual component incorporates a "smile" to convey the multiple benefits of water conservation for people, appliances, and the environment, among others. More than 370 community, corporate, and retail PUB partners will be on board to support the cause. At the same time, the public can also look forward to more than 65 deals and promotions by over 50 retail partners that are putting their weight behind water conservation in the country.
MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to Tribal Worldwide Singapore for additional information regarding the campaign.
“With climate change and rising water demand impacting our water resources, it is crucial that we all do our part to use water wisely so that we will always have enough for future generations, " said PUB's director of 3P network department, Cindy Keng. Through this campaign, PUB wants to encourage everyone to play their part by showing that water conservation can be simple, added Keng. "
Aside from PUB, the Singapore government has also partnered with Tribal to highlight the issue of sustainability. Last month, the country launched the Singapore Green Plan 2030 with a video outlining Singapore’s sustainability vision for the next nine years. The video, which was produced by Tribal Worldwide Singapore, aims to inform and educate the public on the tangible goals the government has put in place to transform Singapore into a global city of sustainability.
Jeff Cheong, CEO, DDB Group Singapore, said that consumers are feeling the effects of climate change today. "Global temperature rise, prolonged droughts and rising sea levels are just some key threats we will face in our generation. The Singapore Green Plan outlines the commitment to Singapore’s survival for our children’s children. As we worked with the inter-ministries to put this whole-of-nation initiative together, we are immensely proud of the people who put their hearts and souls to make Singapore sustainable for 50, 100 years to come," he added.
