In a move to showcase itself as more than just a post office, Pos Malaysia has unveiled a new interactive page with a gamification feature.

The page, titled "Pos Malaysia World", sees an interactive world run by Pos Malaysia with a giant red post box, a spiral building with delivery parcels, a paper plane, a humongous takeaway cup and more. Specific items throughout the world will feature a clickable red pin which reveals Pos Malaysia's various services when clicked.  For example, if users were to click on the giant green battery, a letter will pop up on the screen to reveal the brand's commitment to sustainability.

Upon learning about the service, users can also claim a reward. The rewards comprise of RM5, free iced chocolate, free sundae ice cream, 40% off on Pos Malaysia jersey and RM16 for a personalised 'Setem Ku'.

In conversation with A+M, Pos Malaysia said the objective of the interactive page is to allow users to find out more about its products and services in a fun, playful manner. It also aims to encourage users to interact with the different aspects of the brand's offerings, help users discover services they might not have been aware of previously such as international shipping, e-commerce solutions or convenience stores.

Ultimately, the interactive page with its gamified approach is a way to combine customer engagement, brand awareness, and service exploration, ensuring that users are not only informed about Pos Malaysia’s offerings but also feel rewarded and connected with the brand, said Pos Malaysia.

The page will be part of Pos Malaysia's website and will be available forever.

"At Pos Malaysia, we are constantly innovating to create more meaningful connections with our customers. Our new interactive page with gamification brings our services to life in a fun, innovative way. We invite our customers to explore and discover what Pos Malaysia has to offer while making each visit rewarding with prizes and vouchers. This initiative reflects our commitment to transform every interaction into a convenient yet delightful experience for our customers," said Fiona Liao, group chief marketing, communications, and sustainability officer, Pos Malaysia.

The interactive "Pos Malaysia World" page is in line with the brand's recent campaign "Pos Malaysia's transformation story".

"Pos Malaysia's transformation story" was released in conjunction with World Post Day 2024 this year and aimed to showcase the brand as more than just a post office. Similarly, both "Pos Malaysia's transformation story" and "Pos Malaysia World" focuses on increasing awareness on Pos Malaysi'a transformation journey as well as to showcase its diversified range of products, all while being innovative to delight customers and serve Malaysians better.

As part of "Post Malaysia's transformation story", a film was unveiled to highlight how Pos Malaysia has evolved and adapted over the time.

The film starts with a boy putting an envelope into a postbox at a Pos Malaysia Pos Shop. As the envelope enters the mailbox, it unfolds and enters an animated world. In the animated world, a cyclist appears out of the envelope and cycles down a village created out of paper. The cyclist cycles towards Kuala Lumpur and his bicycle transforms into a motorbike.

The film later showcases the different services available by Pos Malaysia including bill payments, insurance and road tax renewals, sending parcels, investments, buying stamps and even buying food and drinks at the brand's Pos Shop.

It also showcases how the brand's business has transformed from logistics, warehousing, pick and pack and delivery to managing on ground and inflight operations at airports. In addition, the film reveals how the brand has become greener with the use of electric vehicles for its delivery services.

At the end of the film, the animated world is turned into a paper artwork that is held by human employees of Pos Malaysia.
