Pos Malaysia has launched a nationwide giveaway of over 35,000 carnations, chocolates and bookmarks to honour women at all Pos Malaysia touchpoints and within the Klang Valley community, as part of the week-long celebration for International Women's Day on 8 March.

The festivities kicked off at Pos Malaysia's headquarters with an inspiring opening speech by group chief executive, Charles Brewer, followed by a ceremonial cake cutting, a staff pledge, and the distribution of flowers to female employees.

Throughout the week, a series of forums were held at the Pos Malaysia headquarters featuring prominent guests from various industries. The forums led discussions on topics such as ‘Empowering Women in Leadership Roles’, ‘Gender Equality Matters’, ‘Understanding Women's Mental Health at Work’, and ‘Promoting Sustainable Employment for Neurodivergent Individuals’.

Apart from empowering women within the workplace, Pos Malaysia also extended these tokens of appreciation across the nation by launching the nationwide giveaway of carnations, chocolates and bookmarks to women.

By doing this, Pos Malaysia aimed to create a ripple effect of positivity, spreading the message of acknowledgment and empowerment to women in diverse locations and different walks of life.

Throughout the week-long celebration, Pos Malaysia aimed to reaffirm its dedication to promoting gender equality, empowering women, and fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for all employees and customers. Grounded in its passion for building trust to connect lives and businesses for a better tomorrow, these efforts reflect Pos Malaysia’s commitment to driving positive change and advancing equality in society.

Known as the national postal and parcel service provider and sole licensee for universal postal services in the country with a history of over 200 years, this isn't Pos Malaysia's first year showing its support for International Women's Day annually and celebrating their female employees.

In 2023, Pos Malaysia launched a brand activation for International Women's Day on their official Facebook page in line with 2023's theme 'DigitALL - Innovation and technology for gender equality'. The video showcased some of Pos Malaysia's female employees and gave them a platform to express what this special day means to them and how technology has empowered them in the workplace.
