Porsche Singapore has appointed Andre Brand as general manager. Brand’s role is to lead the new venture, formed between Eurokars Group and Porsche Asia Pacific. Brand brings his experience of setting up new Porsche subsidiaries in Taiwan and South Korea whilst in various finance roles in Porsche AG to Porsche Singapore.

Brand was previously head of corporate development and strategy and head of smart mobility at Porsche Japan. During this time, his focus was on creating premium omni-channel experiences, identifying, piloting and scaling new business models such as Porsche Charging networks and services, as well as overseeing Porsche E-Performance development in the Japanese market. This is a newly created role, and Porsche Singapore is an all-new entity formed in partnership between Porsche Asia Pacific and Eurokars Group. Brand will report to Hannes Ruoff, CEO of Porsche Asia Pacific.

With his experience, Porsche said Brand is capable of leading the Singapore team as it explores new automotive retail concepts in the city-state.

Singapore has been identified as an important market for Porsche, as the city-state establishes itself as an innovation hub and a lighthouse for digitalisation, new technology and sustainability. Against this backdrop, Porsche has been reaching out to customers and fans in new ways with recent activations such as The Art of Dreams Singapore at The Promontory @ Marina Bay and is committed to expanding experiential ecosystems for Porsche customers and fans with curated local partnerships in the future.

“I am honoured to be able to lead this new venture and to continue to grow this important market for Porsche. We are looking forward to Porsche Singapore going live, directly influencing more customer touchpoints and making the most of Singapore’s digitally-enabled and entrepreneurial marketplace. We will strive to work closely with the Porsche community here, as we work towards creating new and elevated Porsche experiences to customers and fans alike,” Brand said on his new appointment.

Porsche Singapore is working towards commencing sales operations from 1 January 2023. A new physical showroom location is planned to be announced later this year.

In October 2021, Porsche Asia Pacific named Brendan Mok, former BMW's internal and media communications manager, head of PR and communications. Prior to his role in Porsche Asia Pacific, Mok helmed the role of internal and media communications manager in BMW Australia for close to two years. Before BMW, Mok spent three years in Rolls-Royce Singapore.
