Automobile brand Porsche and athletics brand PUMA have collaborated to release a batch of limited-edition sneakers, part of a kaleidoscope collection.

A unique partnership, bringing together major brands from such varied industries, this collaboration is created as part of ’Dreams in Colours’, a celebration of three decades of enduring Porsche passion in Thailand.

The kaleidoscopic sneaker collection has been designed to complement the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS part of an exclusive collection made to honour the vibrant Kingdom of Thailand. The sports car was made available in seven different colours, each representing the colour of the day in Thai culture.

Like the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS, the Porsche x PUMA ‘Dreams in Colours’ edition comes in seven bright hues; Signal Yellow, Ruby Star, Signal Green, Pastel Orange, Riviera Blue, Ultra Violet and Fire Red. In a nod to the year that Thailand became an official Porsche importer in 1993, only 1,993 sneakers will be created as part of this bold new collaboration.

Ludwig Tsai, general manager of PUMA Thailand said that the release of the limited collection has been designed such that a larger group of Porsche and PUMA fans can celebrate in style.

“It’s been a privilege to work with Porsche to bring our collaborative 'Dreams in Colours' campaign to life, to celebrate three decades of enduring Porsche passion in Thailand,” he added.

Some details of this limited-edition collection include intricate details such as an exterior limitation number, a contemporary ‘911’ logo on the rear pull tab, an exclusive edition sneaker box and a set of additional exclusive accessories make this collection special.

“This collaboration between Porsche and PUMA is a tribute to all those who are, just like us, driven by dreams. Inspired by the vibrant and creative culture of Thailand, we hope every step taken in this sneaker is an expression of one ‘s dreams, confidence and limitless possibilities,” said Yannick Ott, the marketing director at Porsche Asia Pacific.

According to a release to the press, Porsche also announced a collaboration with media company 88rising to expand their reach of young and rising talents in Thailand for further proliferation.

88rising has focused on building opportunities for Asian artists everywhere and breaking them into the global mainstream. Such ways in doing so include writing camps across various territories to support and grow artists in music.  Young artists interested in being uncovered are invited to share their music by tagging #DreamsinColours on TikTok.
