Hong Kong-based restaurant group Pirata Group has elevated users' dining experience with the launch of Pirata App, a brand-new platform that gives guests singular access to the group’s information, reservations, rewards and digital exclusives.

Pirata App is a one-stop shop for all the group’s 27 restaurants, enabling guests to access menus, addresses, maps, opening hours, dining news, promotions and special events in a fun and convenient way, according to the release. The app is now available for download on the App Store and Google Play Store.

Apart from enhancing its user experience, the new platform also aims to boost customer loyalty by offering loyalty rewards, including complimentary house drinks, full meals, dining vouchers and other delicious surprises after hitting a certain number of visits.

Guests who notch 15 visits on the app are able to unlock a membership to The Circle, the group’s exclusive VIP tier for its highest frequency guests. Members of The Circle receive even more personalised experiences and benefits, such as a welcome voucher after their 16th visit, and a warm welcome to the club from the group’s Guest Relations team.

"We are thrilled to launch Pirata App and offer our guests a unique and seamless dining experience," says Steen Puggaard, CEO of Pirata Group. "Long before guests arrive into our restaurants, we want them to have a tool that aids in their planning. During their visit, there are rewards that enhance their dining experience. And after their visit, Pirata App makes it easier to stay connected to our diverse portfolio of restaurants.”

Meanwhile, James Gannaban, director of marketing and communications, said: "Guests love Pirata Group for providing quality food, great service and exceptional value for money. With the App, guests can easily explore our full range of cuisines, unique neighbourhoods, dining events and more - at their fingertips. We want to make discovery and decision making as delightful as possible."

Back in June last year, Pirata Group appointed Burger King Scandinavia CEO Steen Puggaard as CEO. He will succeed co-founder Manuel Palacio, who will transition to the position of chairman of the board. Puggaard will be tasked in managing Pirata Group’s day-to-day operations as well as its planned expansion. Working closely with Palacio, Puggaard will step into the CEO role on 18 July 2022.
