Hong Kong watch retailer Oriental Watch Company has unveiled a teaser video of its upcoming campaign “Take your time to rediscover the city”.

According to the company’s website, the upcoming campaign aims to encourage HongKongers to slow down and listen, look and savour the many facets of the urban jungle.

“Four chapters, One story. Magnify your senses with us and be inspired by the pulse of this city,” the statement read.

The teaser video, which was released on 28 October, features a number of individuals strolling along the streets and alleys of Hong Kong, while a tram driver and neon sign master were seen devoted to their daily work.

The brand has also collaborated with surrealist artist Tommy Fung, to create a surrealistic art piece and promote on Fung’s Instagram, which has combined the iconic neon signs and a tram riding on a bridge to symbolise time travelling through the years of Hong Kong. The post has gathered 12.4K likes and 77 comments.

MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to Oriental Watch for additional information.

Back in October last year, Oriental Watch Company has launched a campaign aimed at helping the people of Hong Kong rethink the meaning of time and celebrate its 60th anniversary.  The campaign “Take Your Time” is the company's first campaign in a decade as Oriental Watch Company hopes to rejuvenate the brand.

Consisting of two 30-second videos, the campaign kicked off in late September and will be rolled out in several phases across online and offline touchpoints. The videos were launched on Oriental Watch Company's social platforms as well as the giant screen on the exterior of department store SOGO's at Causeway.
