Singaporean real estate agency and advisory group, OrangeTee Holdings, has changed its name to OT Group. The new name reflects a unified identity following the merger of its real estate agency arm with the agency arm of real estate consulting firm Edmund Tie & Co in 2017 to form OrangeTee & Tie.
The move also comes as the company reinforces its strategy to capture new opportunities in the real estate sector and advance its market position. OT Group is involved in residential projects, overseas projects, business space, and corporate leasing.
As part of the name change, OT Group's new corporate logo is now depicted by a spiral hexagon. The spiral effect symbolises continuous growth while the pitched roofs visible within the logo represent the group’s principal business in real estate. From a 3D perspective, the logo is a solid cube, conveying stability, permanence and perfection. According to OT Group, the logo signifies its vision to grow and build a diverse real estate services business that is reliable, enduring and bears a distinctive mark of excellence. Marketing has reached out to OT Group for additional information.
OrangeTee & Tie, the real estate agency under OT Group, will continue to operate under this brand name, while its valuation, business space solutions, investment sales and Japan business development businesses will continue operating as OrangeTee Advisory.
Additionally, the group has also named co-founder and CEO of the managers of Viva Industrial Trust, Wilson Ang (pictured), its executive director. As executive director, Ang will be responsible for overseeing the management and development of OT Group’s businesses. He has 28 years of experience in the real estate industry, including real estate investment trust management, industrial property investment and consultancy services.
