One Day and R/GA team up to shape the future of Australian music

Independent music label One Day, known for discovering and championing emerging Australian artists, has announced a partnership with R/GA Australia to shape the label’s brand strategy and identity.
The collaboration will focus on strengthening One Day’s community-driven approach, amplifying its unique brand positioning and supporting its mission to uncover the next wave of Australian breakout talent.
The partnership follows One Day’s strategic alliance with Universal Music Australia, announced in May 2024, which aims to expand the reach of Australian artists on both domestic and global stages.
“R/GA’s work with We Are Warriors and Nike has been a true inspiration for us, and we quickly recognised they were the perfect partner for the next chapter of our brand,” One Day co-founder Nick Lupi, said.
“They immediately understood who we are and where we’re headed - empowering artists to build long-term, meaningful careers. We’re thrilled to collaborate with such a talented team to bring a new generation of Australian artists to the forefront.”
Ben Miles, chief design officer, APAC at R/GA, echoed the sentiment, highlighting One Day’s artist-led, community-first philosophy.
“One Day understands that the connection between listener and artist is so much more than a transactional algorithm; it’s about creativity, emotional depth, and building real communities,” Miles said.
“We’re proud to support their vision, amplifying creativity from the fringes and helping them grow locally and globally.”
Founded in 2013 as an events brand, One Day Entertainment gained national recognition for One Day Sundays, an event series that brought international stars like Anderson .Paak to Australian audiences.
In 2018, One Day transitioned into artist and producer management under the leadership of Nick Lupi and Adit Gauchan, evolving into a key player in the country’s independent music scene.
Now home to a diverse roster - including 18YOMAN, ONEFOUR (winners at the 2024 APRA Music Awards), Chillinit, and tiffi - One Day has built a reputation for fostering artist careers with an emphasis on creativity, independence and long-term growth.
