ONE Championship (ONE) has launched a TV and film production division called ONE Studios. Through this, ONE aims to deliver "high-quality and compelling" television programs and feature films starring its own athletes. From visionary epics to blockbuster feature films all developed by the company’s team of filmmakers and producers, ONE Studios will distribute content globally via digital partners. These include Netflix, YouTube, Facebook, and Amazon among others, as well as to existing TV broadcast partners around the globe. Chatri Sityodtong (pictured), chairman and CEO of ONE Championship said ultimately, ONE's formula for success is "infinitely scalable" across the world. According to Sityodtong, ONE Studios will be a major platform for the athletes throughout their careers to spread their messages and inspire the world, as he aims to create the next generation of heroes around the world such as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Jackie Chan. "Through the power of media and the magic of storytelling, our mission is to unleash real-life superheroes, celebrate values, ignite dreams, inspire nations, and change the world," he said. “Unlike our global competitors who sell fights, ONE Championship is on a mission to unleash real-life superheroes who ignite the world with hope, strength, dreams, and inspiration. We don’t sell fights. We build heroes," he said. Apart from the launch of ONE Studios, ONE will soon be showcasing its first movie project that have been in the works over the last several months. According to Sityodtong's LinkedIn posts, ONE will air in India on both Star Sports and Hotstar with a multiyear partnership, starting from 31 March 31. In addition, ONE has partnered with the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA), the independent governing body for the sport of mixed martial arts worldwide, with a multiyear partnership to elevate the sport of mixed martial arts and prepare for entry into the Olympics. Last year in November, shortly after venturing into e-sports, ONE Championship also expanded its operations into the athleisure business. It launched an official online store to offer global fans direct access to a wide range of urban lifestyle streetwear. Through the online store, consumers can now purchase the newest merchandise and pre-order special limited edition products globally. ONE is also set to collaborate exclusively with renowned designers within the urban lifestyle streetwear space to introduce limited-edition designer collections. Prior to that, ONE closed a US$166 million Series D financing round led by Sequoia Capital. New investors, including Temasek, Greenoaks Capital, and other leading institutional investors, also participated in the round. ONE now has a total capital base that exceeds US$250 million.
