OMD promotes Sadhan Mishra to chief client officer for APAC

OMD APAC has promoted Sadhan Mishra to the position of chief client officer whilst simultaneously holding the position of CEO of OMD Singapore, a role which he held from July 2022.

Mishra has been at OMD since 2010, helming the roles of senior integrated media manager, head of strategy, regional business director and managing director of the Shanghai office, before returning to Singapore where he took on the roles of general manager, managing director and eventually, CEO.

Prior to his tenure at OMD, Mishra was a media planner at MediaCom from 2008 to 2010.

At the time of his appointment as CEO of OMD Singapore, Omnicomm Media Group’s new CEO, Chloe Neo said that Mishra had been a steadfast and high-performance leader who has grown from strength-to-strength with OMD.

“We have always been impressed with his empathetic leadership style that keeps our people engaged as well as his client-centric mindset that consistently exceeds business and client expectations. We are excited to see Mishra’s contribution in building positive growth momentum and accelerating OMD’s ambition to inspire greater purpose and fearless creativity for our clients and the industry,” she added.

Under his guidance as CEO at OMD Singapore, the agency bagged many notable clients such as Singtel, Income, foodpanda, GXS, Carro, and NCS.

In an interview with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE in June last year, Mishra stated that a key pivot was to bring talented and motivated groups of people at OMD Singapore and strengthen its strategy and performance units to increase the quality of output from the agency.

Providing insight on the evolution of the media industry, Mishra said that it needs to reclaim strategy and creativity as its core, which has to be done using technology in the service of creativity. “That’s the lasting value we can drive as an industry and continue to be attractive to quality talent who have more options than before,” he added.

OMD APAC was appointed by Suntory Beverage & Food Asia Pacific as its media agency for the APAC region in February this year. 

The appointment saw OMD grow its relationship with SBFAP from two to eight markets. The added markets include Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand, along with New Zealand and Australia.
