Starbucks is tapping into a century of Winnie the Pooh nostalgia with a limited-edition merchandise collection celebrating the beloved Disney character’s 100th anniversary.

Launching on 20 October, the collection features drinkware and lifestyle accessories inspired by Pooh and his friends in the fictional Hundred Acre Wood, including Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger.

The range comprises ceramic mugs, cold cups and stainless steel tumblers in various sizes, alongside Starbucks Bearista keychains and phone straps dressed as the characters. A reusable bag that folds into a matching pouch also features in the collection.

The merchandise takes visual cues from the characters’ adventures, with honey-inspired details, a warm colour palette and playful designs. The collection is part of a wider regional Starbucks initiative with Disney, launching across participating markets in Asia Pacific, including Singapore.

Beyond the anniversary, the collaboration draws on the enduring appeal of the characters and their stories of friendship, kindness and connection. According to a Starbucks Singapore spokesperson, Winnie the Pooh has remained relevant across generations by encouraging audiences to slow down, stay curious and appreciate life’s simpler pleasures.

“For a century, Winnie the Pooh has reminded us to be kind, stay curious, and keep a little honey in your heart,” the spokesperson said.

The themes also provide a natural link to Starbucks’ positioning around everyday coffee rituals and shared moments. The spokesperson said the collection was designed to bring the warmth and whimsy of the Hundred Acre Wood into customers’ daily routines, appealing to longtime fans through nostalgia while allowing newer audiences to discover the characters’ stories.

“These qualities feel naturally at home at Starbucks, where everyday coffee rituals create opportunities to pause, connect and enjoy time together,” the spokesperson said.

Designed for both personal use and gifting, the merchandise aims to bring a sense of comfort and connection to everyday routines, from coffee breaks to moments spent with loved ones.

The merchandise will be available at Starbucks Singapore stores and on LazMall, with online sales beginning at 12pm on 20 October.

It is also available at participating Starbucks coffeehouses in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The Winnie the Pooh collection follows a string of pop culture collaborations by Starbucks across Asia Pacific, as the coffee chain continues to extend its merchandise offering beyond conventional drinkware.

In September, Starbucks tapped Mandopop singer Jay Chou for its “Jay Series”, a merchandise collection translating elements of the singer’s musical identity into lifestyle products. The range includes drinkware featuring lyric engravings and motifs inspired by his performances, with the collection introduced progressively across selected Asian markets, including Hong Kong and Macau.

Starbucks also joined forces with Peanuts for a limited-edition autumn collection celebrating the 60th anniversary of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”. Launched across participating markets from 15 September, the collection features 10 items spanning drinkware, lifestyle accessories and plush merchandise inspired by Snoopy and the Peanuts gang.

In August, Starbucks Singapore brought back Japanese cat character Mofusand for a second collaboration, introducing Singapore-exclusive merchandise including plush keychains, drinkware and blind box keychains. The return followed what Starbucks described as an “overwhelming response” to its first Mofusand collaboration in 2025.
