Artotel rocks out with wild campaign for new loyalty program

Artotel Group is rocking out with a new loyalty programme called the "Rockstar status". "Rockstar status" is a whole new tier to its Wanderlust program where the hotel rewards their most loyal guests with a night where anything goes.
In the campaign video, guests are seen riding motorcycles in the corridor, swimming with a crocodile in the tub, getting tattooed in the hotel bedroom and even throwing a piano out of the building.

To achieve "Rockstar status", members will have to prove their loyalty by staying at the hotel for 121 nights. On their way to achieving "Rockstar status", guests will still be able to enjoy Artotel's amenities, customer service, accommodation and benefits.
“Of all my years in the hospitality line, I’ve yet to see any hotel do something like this. At least, not voluntarily. This hotel membership brings the rockstar in you to life to have fun like never before.” said Erastus Radjimin, Artotel Group CEO in a statement.
"Artotel Group has always gone above and beyond for our guests. As a hotel chain that celebrates hospitality, we believe rewarding our loyal guests with a night to fulfil their wildest dreams aligns perfectly with our philosophy. We want them to have an experience that they will never forget," added Radjimin when asked why such an extreme strategy was decided upon.
Nicolas Courant, chief creative officer, Ogilvy Singapore said: “Arotel is a brand that truly believes in adding a creative touch to the hospitality business. This year, we’ve worked with them to take their loyalty program to the next level.”
This campaign comes after Artotel Group and Ogilvy worked together to launch the "Gamer Asylum" concept rooms at Artotel Sanur Bali in 2022.
"Gamer Asylum" was inspired by the gaming ban in China, which limits young gamers playing online video games to three hours a week.
The restrictions apply to any device, including phones, and the new rules swiftly became one of the most discussed topics on Weibo.
"With this concept, we hope to be able to attract a new market segment (gamers) and especially international tourists who can visit Gamer Asylum to play without limitations and in turn also contribute to Bali’s tourism," Artotel's spokesperson said.
