Ocean Park is inviting citizens to donate toys and celebrate with the giant panda twin cubs, Elder Sister (家姐) and Little Brother (細佬) ahead of Children's Day tomorrow (4 April).
Available from 4 to 6 April, between 10 am and 5:30 pm, the toy donation drive aligns with the first Children's Day celebration for Elder Sister and Little Brother. Citizens are encouraged to bring their children to Ocean Park over the long weekend to donate toys for a good cause. These toys will be passed on by Ocean Park to "Community living rooms" (社區客廳), ensuring that children in need can have fun and play.
The beneficiaries include organisations such as Po Leung Kuk, St. James’ Settlement; Tung Wah Group of Hospitals; Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council; Community Care; and The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon.
Citizens can bring their toys to the collection point at Ocean Square or the Ocean Park main entrance. Those who successfully donate toys will receive a special panda cubs bookmark and a 50% discount coupon for an Ocean Park child general admission ticket.
Furthermore, Ocean Park will donate new cushions to "Community living rooms" on behalf of Elder Sister and Little Brother's parents, Ying Ying (盈盈) and Le Le (樂樂). These cushions have been a part of their lives since they grew up.
Meanwhile, items such as incomplete or broken toys, plush toys, children's accessories, small decorations, battery-operated toys, toys with inappropriate or violent content, or those not meeting toy safety standards, are not recommended for donation.

To further engage with visitors, Ocean Park has launched exclusive photo spots featuring Elder Sister and Little Brother for this Children's Day. Additionally, visitors can watch the special nighttime show, "Illuminate the night: Enchanting giant panda multimedia show", that will feature the panda cubs. They can also visit the "Panda wonders: An illuminated journey" and take interactive AR photos with Ying Ying, Elder Sister, and Little Brother.

Don’t miss: HK authorities and Ocean Park ramp up panda promotion in town
Back in February, the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau (CSTB), the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), and Ocean Park ramped up the promotion of the newly arrived pandas and their cubs, bringing the magic of giant pandas to even more locations and platforms across the city.
As part of the initiatives, CSTB, HKTB, and Hongkong Post have joined forces to introduce 3D panda mailboxes. A total of 49 mailboxes will be transformed all over Hong Kong, Kowloon, and the New Territories, with the first five making their appearance in Causeway Bay and the Southern District. The rest will gradually be unveiled from February to early March.
