Ninja Van Singapore makes unconventional move adding PR to its logistics service

Logistics company, Ninja Van Singapore, has rolled out PR as a service for businesses shipping with Ninja Van in Singapore. Some of the services the company will provide includes media release development, influencer management and vent support and more.
According to the company, the new service adds to the delivery company’s suite of value-added services that Ninja Van rolled out in SEA to supercharge shippers’ growth beyond logistics. The new programme will be available on on Ninja Rewards – a loyalty programme from the company.

With regards to the launch of the new service, Ninja Van said that PR is a key tool to help shippers create brand recognition, build credibility and manage brand reputation, thereby achieving shippers’ business goals. A recent survey conducted among Ninja Van shippers across SEA also found that 44% expressed interest to explore what PR can do for their businesses.
“In a world where businesses are constantly vying for attention, finding ways to make your eCommerce business stand out is crucial,” explained Winston Seow, chief marketing officer, Ninja Van Group.
Seow explained that being there from the start of eCommerce gave Ninja Van a front-row seat to SEA’s eCommerce evolution, and the company use this unique position to support its shippers beyond logistics. “Understanding their needs has helped us roll out value-added services that will plug the gaps they face,” he said, adding that with the new service, the company can provide shippers with the PR support that they need to stand out from the crowd.
Meanwhile, this isn’t Ninja Van’s first foray into marketing services. Last year, Ninja Van launched “Creative Hub” in various cities across Indonesia to provide shippers with creative, digital and social media marketing solutions.
Other services in Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore include masterclasses with various experts to impart business tips and tricks to shippers, the latest being a session on in-depth insights into online shoppers and useful marketing strategies to target them.
In September 2022, Ninja Van was appointed as TikTok Shop's logistics partner in Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Through this partnership, online purchases checked out on TikTok Shop in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines will now be picked up from sellers, sorted in hubs, and delivered to shoppers by Ninja Van.
