Nike Hong Kong is launching an exhibition to showcase its products over the past decades, along with its design and sustainability efforts at K11 MUSEA at Tsim Sha Tsui.

Running until 11 June, the ongoing exhibition "Nike at 50: A Genealogy of Progress" is divided into four zones, telling different stages of the progress of the brand. Moreover, the exhibition also showcases the brand's vision for the next 50 years as it aims to create a better world for the future of sport and the planet.

The first zone "Nike 50 Moments: Celebrate then, now and the future" combines the past, present and future of Nike into an immersive audiovisual experience. This section aims to celebrate the brand's signature shoes, ads over the years and key historical moments and legacy. In this zone, visitors can see local athletes such as Rex Tso, Stephanie Au and Edgar Cheung.

The second zone "Moon Path: the Evolution of Marathon Innovation" pays tribute to its innovative product "the Moon Shoe". Released in 1972, the product was both a relic of Nike's independence year and its ambition. This passage of marathon heritage holds an array of running footwear, defined by its technology and the ambition to support athletes and better protect the planet. The line-up begins from the original pair of Moon Shoe presented by K11, to the latest product Alphafly Next%.

In 1987, the technology was revealed to the world. In this section, it houses one of the company's most iconic innovations Nike Air, showcasing new shapes and addressing new cushioning challenges along the way. According to the brand, Air is the pioneer and one of Nike's most sustainable innovations.

Lastly, the last section "Move to Zero Lounge: discovering sustainable design practice" displays Nike's history of sustainable innovation, featuring ZVEZDOCHKA, one of Nike's first attempts at the closed-loop product, and Pegasus Turbo Next Nature – the latest development in performance footwear with the future of the planet in mind.

Moreover, six local creative visionaries are on display too to repurpose Nike manufacturing waste in artistic expressions, with the theme of creating a sustainable living space. All manufacturing waste is collected locally as part of the brand's vision for a closed-loop supply chain system, while waste upcycled includes unwanted shoe boxes and Nike manufacturing fabric scraps.
