Dipashree Das has joined AmazonFuse as head of partner marketing, APAC and ANZ based in Singapore. Her remit includes leading marketing for strategic partners across APAC and ANZ and scaling AmazonFuse in this region. She reports to Tony Leamer, international partner marketing for AmazonFuse.

She was most recently in charge of marketing for films at Netflix for India and was with the company for close to six years. In that role, she was based in Mumbai and was responsible for shaping the marketing strategy and narrative for the original and licenced films portfolio. She joined the India team after a two-year stint in Singapore leading marketing and partnerships for Southeast Asia and Taiwan.

Before that, she was with Singtel for three years and last helmed the role of team lead, regional channel partnerships, trade marketing and sales strategy. She also worked at Channel NewsAsia, Oak3 Films, NDTV, and Unilever.

AmazonFuse was launched in 2018 and enables companies to determine the Amazon memberships and subscriptions they would like to extend to their own customers. These include Prime, Prime Video, and Amazon Music. A quick check by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE found that AmazonFuse currently has 18 vacancies in the US, UK, India and Canada. Among the list of the roles include mobile marketing manager, senior partner marketing manager, and software development engineer.

Separately, Amazon is also introducing a new Prime Video interface for streaming devices. The new redesign includes a bigger carousel for Amazon Originals with maturity ratings and top 10 charts for titles. Most recently Amazon Singapore also wrapped up its two-day shopping event with Prime Day. According to the eCommerce giant, more than 19,000 SMEs sold on Amazon.sg, 2,000 of which joined Prime Day for the first time.

Amazon also recreated a classic "carnival" experience at the first-ever Prime Day Pit Stop event in Singapore, where thousands of attendees participated in various contests and activities, with prizes such as Amazon.sg Gift Cards and Amazon Fresh vouchers up for grabs. Amazon Singapore's country manager Henry Low said it is thankful for the tremendous response and support from its customers and partners who have made this year's Prime Day a great success.
