Netflix is allowing consumers to watch its content on the go via smartphone or tablet via its new mobile plan. The new mobile plan offers users access to all of Netflix's entire local and international catalogue, with no ads, no-hassle cancellation, and parental controls to make informed viewing choices for their families.Netflix also continues to improve the mobile experience with features such as smart downloads, mobile previews, adaptive UI, and sharing to social media. Malaysians now have four plans to choose from, in addition to the existing basic, standard and premium.According to Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission’s2018 Internet Users Survey, 78% of Malaysia’s internet users spent time streaming and downloading entertainment. Netflix said in a press statement that its members in Malaysia already watch twice as much content on their phones as the average member. The mobile plan is tailor-made to broaden access to Netflix in this truly mobile-first nation. A+M has reached out to Netflix for additional information.“Our members in Malaysia love to watch shows on their smartphones and tablets. With the first-ever mobile plan in Southeast Asia, all of Netflix’s shows and movies will be even more accessible for Malaysians to stream and download,” said Ajay Arora, director of product innovation at Netflix.
