NCS group names new senior director of strategic communications

Geraldine Kan has been appointed as senior director of strategic communications at NCS group.
She takes on the role after her time at HP where she spent over five years as director of communications in Asia. During her time at HP, Kan held many different titles from corporate communications, global strategy and programming director amongst others.
Kan was also part of HP’s Worldwide Corporate Communications team, focusing on globalising corporate campaigns and thought leadership platforms.

Prior to HP, Kan headed the corporate practice at Golin – where her clients included McDonald’s, Morgan Stanley and SATS, according to her LinkedIn. She started her career at The Straits Times news desk before moving to IBM, where she worked in both the Singapore and New York offices. She then returned to Singapore to start and lead Lenovo’s Asia Pacific and emerging markets communication function.
She is a strong advocate for Diversity and Inclusion, and sits on the Board of NTU’s POWERS (Promotion of Women in Engineering, Research, and STEM) programme.
