Mudah.my partners CelcomDigi to enlighten homeowners about internet connectivity

Malaysian online marketplace Mudah.my and network service CelcomDigi have collaborated to enable the introduction of a feature that integrates CelcomDigi's Fiber and 5G home WiFi services directly into Mudah's property website. This streamlines the process for Malaysians to find homes with top-tier connectivity. 

The partnership ensures that as users browse for homes, they can easily identify the best connectivity options to match their demands of modern digital lifestyles. The feature is now available across Mudah's property website and will display if the home is best connected with CelcomDigi's 5G home Wifi or home Fibre.

The CelcomDigi Fibre boasts speed up o 1Gbps in every room with free fibre-to-the-room. Homeowners can also transform their home with AI smart home devices from just RM2 per day. Meanwhile, renters seeking instant fibre-like connectivity can opt for CelcomDigi 5G home Wifi. 

The collaboration was done with the support of CelcomDigi's media agency, OMD Malaysia. 

“We're excited to partner with CelcomDigi to enhance the property search experience for our users. Through this collaboration, we are providing users with valuable insights about connectivity options available via CelcomDigi’s Fibre and 5G home WiFi services, helping them make informed decisions about their future homes," said Teh Han Ming, head of Mudah Property.

“This strategic partnership not only enhances the value we deliver to our users but also enables CelcomDigi to reach a broad and diverse audience through our trusted platform. Together, we ensure that users can discover not only their ideal home but also the best connectivity options to suit their digital lifestyles,” added Teh. 

Aliasgar Hirani, head of digital, OMD Malaysia said that the market-first collaboration is a good fit as it addresses consumers' need for Internet services when renting or buying a home. This in turn increases brand consideration for CelcomDigi. 

"It also highlights OMD’s creative media practice, which combines behavioural and cultural insights to elevate our activations and media partnerships, ensuring maximum relevance for our clients and creating more impactful connections with consumers," said Aliasgar. 

CelcomDigi handed its media duties to OMD Malaysia in December 2023. This comes after the brand worked with OMD to execute a brand campaign, unveiling its new brand spirit, “Create a world inspired by you” along with a new logo.

With the partnership with OMD, the agency wanted to show how the union signified more possibilities and opportunities that could reimagine a new era for the country. The team also understood the need to communicate that CelcomDigi’s combined strength will help consumers reimagine their lives and gives them power to do more, it said in a statement. 

Aside from this collaboration, the brand has also unveiled a new brand film titled "Bejalai: Journey of Inspiration", calling on Malaysians to reconnect with their roots. The film explores the timeless rite of passes where Iban men set out on journeys to seek wisdom, wealth, or fame, before returning to their communities to inspire others.
