In a significant milestone first, two local major OOH media companies – Moove Media and The X Collective have promptly partnered to offer advertisers an OOH package to support them in this challenging economy. Called “Twin Titans”, the OOH package comprises a total of four train and bus packages.

In a statement to Marketing, the duo said from 1 March until 31 May 2020, advertisers who select this package can save up to 70% for islandwide coverage. Moreover, production costs will also be included in the price stated for all packages. The packages for trains include in-train panels and window stickers in six whole trains across five train lines: Circle, East-West and North-South Lines that are operated by SMRT; and North East and Downtown Lines that are operated by SBS Transit.

The bus packages, on the other hand, include 14 single deck bus wraps; eight double deck bus wraps; and 12 double deck Rear bus panels. These buses ply the Central Business District, Orchard, long-haul and feeder routes.

Jayne Kwek, CEO of Moove Media said, “This partnership with XCO is a great opportunity for Moove to offer our advertising partners an even more attractive package which better addresses their needs. On top of Moove’s current offerings, this new package, which combines both Moove and XCO’s best assets, will definitely deliver greater mileage and an even greater reach.”

“This first ever landmark collaboration between two established Out-of-Home giants delivers to our partners extended benefits, and value across media coverage and customer engagement” Dawn Low, managing director, XCO & executive vice president, SMRT Experience.

“Partnering Moove allows our advertisers to better capitalise and integrate the capabilities and assets of both companies, to create creative campaigns to reach out to their target demographics islandwide” added Ms Jeslyn Tan, Vice President, Transit Business, XCO. “This is especially relevant in this trying period for many advertisers.”

Already on board as advertisers are brands such as McDonald’s and SingTel.

Agatha Yap, senior director for marketing & digital innovations from McDonald’s said, “I was pleasantly surprised that two key media players in Singapore, Moove and XCO, came together, work with us, to roll out this out-of-home solution that offers an even bigger coverage as well as cost effectiveness for our campaign. We hope to see more of such collaborations and out of the box thinking from them, that will provide tangible solutions and media package innovations as we combat through a period of tough retail times.
