Mondelēz Indonesia hands Vikram Chandratrey added marketing remit

Mondelēz Indonesia has handed Vikram Chandratrey (pictured) the added role of head of marketing, in addition to his current role as head of marketing, Oreo, Southeast Asia. He will lead the marketing for all brands across categories in Mondelēz Indonesia. They include Oreo, Cadbury, Biksuat and KRAFT cheese.
Chandratrey will be responsible for driving growth to achieve annual business results and building long-term strategy to ensure future growth sufficiency by empowering people to snack right. He succeeds Maggie Effendy who has decided to pursue external opportunities after more than five years with the company.
Effendy took on the role last year and according to her LinkedIn, she was responsible for all brands performances across total categories in the Indonesian market. The brand is currently working with Publicis Groupe and Wavemaker.
Separately, on the leadership front, it recently appointed Hemant Rupani as president of its Southeast Asia business unit. He was previously the MD of Mondelēz Kinh Do Vietnam and replaces Glenn Caton who has moved to another position in the company's global operations.
