Mediacorp Partner Network and 99.co tie up

Mediacorp has joined hands with online property search portal 99.co to aim to create the "next generation of property search to boost the user experience of property buyers, sellers, agents and developers". The partnership is part of Mediacorp Partner Network, an initiative that brings Mediacorp together with partner organisations to deliver a richer experience for consumers and advertisers in Singapore.The agreement, effective 1 September 2018 onwards, will combine Mediacorp’s multi-platform audience reach and commercial relationships together with 99.co’s listing base, content, and data analytics tools to create more relevant property related news and information for consumers. 99.co will aim to bring to Mediacorp’s audience base "a new focus and expertise in the real estate industry, catering to both existing and new audiences interests".Under this agreement, Mediacorp will be the exclusive representative for all media sales in Singapore for 99.co. In addition, Mediacorp will also have the right to represent 99.co in key markets outside Singapore on a non-exclusive basis. Furthermore, 99.co will provide property sector editorial content on Mediacorp’s platforms and support client solutioning using branded content.“We are excited about 99.co becoming our second partner to join Mediacorp Partner Network, which we launched to create new possibilities for Mediacorp and our partners. Through this agreement, we aim to enhance the experience of those searching online for their homes and investments,” Parminder Singh, Mediacorp’s chief commercial and digital officer said.“This is a perfect fit to help fulfill a glaring opportunity and is a great win for consumers and clients all around. We look forward to strengthening our digital presence in Singapore and the region with Mediacorp as our media partner,” Darius Cheung, CEO of 99.co said.Earlier this year, Mediacorp Partner Network brought on board ESPN, which aimed to combine Mediacorp’s multi-platform audience reach and commercial relationships with ESPN’s global leadership in sports coverage and content.
