Media.Monks China names new executive creative director

Media.Monks China has appointed Kelly Woh (pictured) as executive creative director with immediate effect. She reports to Joao Flores, regional executive creative director of Media.Monks APAC.

In her new role, Woh will work alongside Rogier Bikker, managing director of Media.Monks China, to continuously create digital-driven creative solutions for brands while fulfilling Media.Monks’ business vision in China.

Originally from Malaysia, Woh has over 20 years of experience in brand-building and integrated creative solutions. Before joining Media.Monks, she was group creative director at Ogilvy Shanghai. Prior to which, she was with AKQA, OgilvyOne and Energysource. 

“I admire MediaMonks’ instinct towards innovation, the strong agency culture, and the leaders behind it. Its' work consistently reveals a forward-thinking approach to creativity necessary for an industry that demands innovation and change. With my experiences, I feel like this is the perfect opportunity for me to carry on building a future-proofed work together with the team,” said Woh.

According to the company, Woh worked with global brands such as Nike, Adidas, Coca-Cola, Sprite, Kraft, Lego, Shiseido and KFC. She was recognised as one of the Top 10 creative youth in Malaysia in 2017.
