Media agency Brainlabs picks new APAC head of growth

Media agency Brainlabs has picked Leroy Lim as its new head of growth for the APAC region.

He joins the agency following a period of high growth, with a remit to bring together the best of the Brainlabs’ APAC talent and expertise and full-service digital offering to both current and future clients, the agency told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE. 

Lim will be focused on growing the Brainlabs APAC client portfolio for core agency services including, search, programmatic, social, analytics, eCommerce, influencer, data strategy and consultancy.

The role will also see him leading partnerships with key media owners including Google, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok and see him working alongside the global product leadership team to develop further products for the APAC region.

Lim has extensive experience in the advertising industry having held leadership roles throughout his career at both media agencies and publishers, most recently as general manager at Arena Media Singapore. There, he led the agency's integrated and digital media operations, communications planning approach, data proposition and new business. 

Prior to that, he spent 11 months at Tatler Asia Group as its head of revenue for Southeast Asia. 

He has also held roles at theAsianparent, PHD, Starcom MediaVest Group and Zenith in his career. 

His comprehensive expertise in the advertising landscape, combined with a deep understanding of clients’ business and marketing needs, empowers him to adeptly devise effective business solutions for both client and agency alike, the agency said.

Brainlabs' rise in the region has seen the agency grow from one to three offices in APAC in two years, most recently through the acquisition in January 2024 of Australian independent agency Sparro.
