Alipay+ has further extended its partnership with foodpanda to Malaysia. This partnership aims to allow foodpanda Malaysia’s customers to enjoy food and grocery deliveries by paying through Touch ’n Go eWallet.

This comes as contactless payments are becoming more prevalent over the past few years, users of Touch ’n Go eWallet are now able to purchase food and daily essentials through foodpanda Malaysia. Customers can also enjoy instant cash discount at checkout via Touch ‘n Go eWallet when placing orders on foodpanda.

This partnership will allow foodpanda Malaysia to tap into Touch ’n Go eWallet’s over 18 million registered users.

Foodpanda Malaysia’ CEO, Sayatan Das said that it is committed to providing its customers with the convenience of having their food and daily essentials delivered right to their doorstep. “We strive to be 1% better each time and add value to our customer’s experience. This time, it is to give them more options in payment methods,” he added. Moreover, he explained that encouraging the adoption of digital payment, it allows for the convenience and safety of millions of the brand’s merchants, riders and customers," Das said.
