Maggie Effendy has joined Kimberly-Clark Indonesia as associate marketing director reporting to CMO and integration leader Gaurav Gupta. Her job scope involves end-to-end marketing for the baby and childcare category. She was previously with Mondelēz International Indonesia for five years, last helming the role of head of marketing.
Effendy said in a LinkedIn post that there are not many things in life she loves more than Oreos. However, those who know her well will know that one of those few things she loves are babies. "Hence, when the opportunity came to do great work that will shape and impact babyhood in Indonesia, I had to jump at the chance," she explained.
She brings 19 years of experience to her new role. During her time at Mondelēz International, she managed a diverse and empowered team covering a portfolio of global brands, such as Oreo and Cadbury, and local jewels, such as Biskuat and Kraft Cheese. She joined the company as Mondelēz's head of biscuit in February 2017 and expanded her career over the years.
Before Mondelēz International, she held the role of marketing manager at Nestlé Indonesia where she was tasked with the overall marketing of Nestlé breakfast cereal brands, covering kids, adult and family category, which includes global brands such as Koko Krunch, Honey Star and Milo Balls. Effendy describes herself on LinkedIn as an FMCG international marketing professional that possesses experience in both business development on a regional level as well as for local sales and marketing.
