M&C Saatchi Performance promotes APAC MD Kabeer Chaudhary to global CEO

Global performance marketing agency M&C Saatchi Performance has promoted its managing director for APAC, Kabeer Chaudhary (pictured), to the role of global chief executive officer. Chaudhary will be taking the reins from James Hilton, the current CEO and founder of M&C Saatchi Performance, who will continue his role as chairman of the agency. 

Chaudhary has been with M&C Saatchi Performance since 2015 and has served in the role of managing director APAC for the past two years. Under his guidance, the agency strengthened its positioning in the region onboarding clients across different verticals, it said in a statement.

In his new remit, Chaudhary will continue to be based out of Singapore and will be responsible for managing the agency’s operations across APAC, Middle East, Europe and the U.S. He will also work closely with the global leadership and the country heads to evolve the agency’s global proposition.

He will report to Hilton and will continue to manage APAC operations until a replacement for his role has been appointed.

Prior to joining M&C Saatchi Performance in 2015, Chaudhary was a senior account manager at Mobext (Havas Group), a role he moved into after spending just over a year as its key account manager. Before that, Chaudhary spent just under four years at Endemol where he served at various position such as its commercial senior manager, commercial manager and commercial executive. 

Last year, M&C Saatchi Performance appointed Melissa Yikas country director Singapore and Roshat Adnani as managing partner APAC. These promotions come off the back of M&C Saatchi Performance’s significant growth with new business wins including Asana, ASICS, Julo, Noice and Jobstreet. These positions were newly established roles.
