M&C Saatchi Malaysia bolsters digital team with 3 senior appointments

M&C Saatchi Malaysia has strengthened its digital team with three senior appointments. Anna Ragen (pictured left) has been appointed head of social media and has close to 10 years of experience in the industry, with a strong background in integrated campaigns and social media strategies.She was originally from Singapore and started her career with Singapore’s Ministry of Defence, working on all digital components for Singapore’s annual Total Defence campaign before joining Wild Advertising and Marketing. According to her LinkedIn, Ragen also worked at Tate Anzur and PRecious Communications, spearheading social media and integrated campaigns, and building a cohesive go-to-market strategy for PR firms looking to win social media businesses. Among the list of clients she has worked with include Singapore’s Central Provident Fund Board, Land Transport Authority, OCBC, Eu Yan Sang, PayPal and Google.Meanwhile, the agency also named Ruzaqiah Ismail (pictured right) its digital analytics and insights lead. In her new role, she will lead data analytics across all stakeholders, building client relationship through data-driven support as well as assisting with new business development for M&C Saatchi-i. Ruzaqiah was previously from Maxis managing insights and marketing intelligence, according to her LinkedIn. She also worked at Digi, dunnhumby and TNS Research. She has more than a decade of experience in customer insights, specially in the automotive, FMCG and telecommunications sectors.M&C Saatchi also appointed Srayan Ghosh (pictured centre) as its integrated strategist. He was previously the strategic planning director at Ogilvy Malaysia for two years, handling Nestle, CIMB and INTI University. He is experienced in integrating conventional marketing and advertising wisdom with data and technology. Ghosh has also worked across various sectors including FMCG, telecommunications, automobiles, fashion, technology and energy management. He previously worked in India and France.In March this year, the agency expanded into the fields of consumer research and production with The Source Asia and Watermelon Productions. The Source Asia will be a “one-stop” qualitative/quantitative research agency in town, where clients can obtain the view of their customers. The agency will be independently run under the M&C Saatchi Group based in London.Meanwhile, Watermelon Productions houses a team of film directors, editors, content creators, vloggers and producers.
